The information provided by Square Deal Consulting (henceforth “SDC”) is presented in good faith to anyone considering, requesting, or acquiring services (henceforth “Clients”) from SDC for general informational purposes only.

This site cannot and does not contain legal advice. SDC does not provide any legal advice. SDC does not currently employ anyone with a law degree or a patent agent registration number and therefore cannot provide any services requiring either of those. All information, legal and non-legal, is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice. Clients are encouraged to consult with the appropriate professionals before taking any action based on information provided by SDC.

SDC provides advice and services to Clients at their discretion, and to the best of SDC’s ability. Advice and services are based on the information provided to SDC and in view of SDC’s experience as a technology transfer professional. Clients are referred to the “Who We Are” page to review SDC’s experience. It is incumbent upon the Client to provide accurate information and perform any additional due diligence necessary to decide on a course of action. Technology transfer, and business in general, is inherently unpredictable. All services are supplied as advice, and are not a guarantee of any outcome, favorable or unfavorable. SDC makes no representation or warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information, advice, or services provided.

Any decision made by Client that uses, considers, or relies on the advice and services supplied by SDC are the sole responsibility and risk of the Client. Under no circumstance shall SDC have any liability to Clients for any loss or damage of any kind incurred from the use of the site or reliance on any information provided on the site.

By seeking advice from or entering into a service agreement with SDC, all Clients acknowledge that they have read and understand these disclaimers.

The site may contain, or Clients may be sent through the site, links to other websites or content belonging to or originating from third parties or links to websites and features in banners or other advertising. Such external links are not investigated, monitored, or checked for accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness by SDC.

AFFILIATES AND PREFERRED PARTNERS

The site may contain links to websites for Affiliates and Preferred Partners. SDC may receive a commission for any purchases Clients make on an Affiliate or Preferred Partner website using such links.

TESTIMONIALS

The site may contain testimonials of SDC’s advice and services. These testimonials reflect the real-life experiences and opinions of Clients; however, the experiences are personal to those Clients and may not necessarily represent all Clients. SDC does not claim, and Clients should not assume, that all Clients will have the same experiences as results may vary.

The testimonials are submitted in various forms, such as text, audio, or video, and SDC reviews them before posting. All testimonials appear as given by the Clients, except for:

Correction of grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors; and
Testimonials which are shortened for brevity and privacy reasons.

Edits may be approved by the Client giving the testimonial.

The views and opinions contained in the testimonials belong solely to the individual Clients and do not reflect SDC’s views and opinions. SDC does not pay or compensate Clients in exchange for their testimonials.

FAIR USE

This website may contain copyrighted material, the use of which may not have been specifically authorized by the owner. This material is available to explain or illustrate the benefits of using SDC’s services. The material contained on this website is provided without profit for educational purposes. This constitutes a ‘fair use’ of any such copyrighted material (referenced and provided for in section 107 of the US Copyright Law).

Anyone wishing to use any copyrighted material from this site that goes beyond “fair use” must obtain expressed permission from the copyright owner.

Square Deal Consulting (SDC) will request specific information from you using our Project Information Form (PIF). The information in the PIF will be collected for the purpose of verifying your identity and setting up a “Client File” so that business can be appropriately conducted. SDC does not and will not collect information for any purpose other than conducting business with its Clients. No information collected will be shared by SDC with any third party without the expressed written permission of the Client.

All information shared with SDC will be treated as confidential to the fullest extent permitted by law. Clients are advised not to share any explicitly confidential information with SDC until such time as a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) is fully executed. Clients are further advised to supply any confidential information in a manner that discourages the unintentional release or viewing of the information by unintended parties, such as the use of encryption.
